In 2001, picturehouse marketing ltd (UK), launched with events in London and New York. These were soon followed with events in Europe and, in 2007, the first event in Sydney. They are still the only events of their kind in the stock picture business that bring together buyers and suppliers of photography, illustration and footage in city centre locations around the world.

In February 2008, Kim and Steve Hearn set up Slick Marketing to promote image industry events in Australasia, having successfully operated the Sydney event in 2007.

what we do |

We offer marketing opportunities to stock picture suppliers, from international libraries to niche collections and individual photographers. Our events are the perfect place for buyers to discover great new imagery and meet the people behind the scenes, renew old contacts and forge new ones. We attract stills and footage libraries from around the world, covering every style of imagery from contemporary photography to historical illustration. We choose interesting and stylish venues, not anonymous exhibition halls, and we provide quality food and beverages throughout the day.
picturehouse events are professional (no students or casual visitors), informal, free to attend, and fun!
