The 60th Anniversary Show

This years Farnborough Airshow had two first time highlights - the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor on it's first appearance outside of the USA and the newly restored Avro Vulcan bomber.

Starting with the spectacular A380 display, these shots are from the Monday and Wednesday. Image 3 demonstrates why it's unwise to stand behind an A380 when it takes off!

Unfortunately the clouds rolled in just as the F-22 started it's display and this was the pattern for both days - as soon as grey fighters appeared so did the clouds!

Very different weather to two years ago when the airshow roasted in 35 degrees plus!
